COVID-19 government regulations may impose restrictions with face to face contact. Jacqui is available to provide services virtually using online (Zoom, FaceTime and other platforms) as well as email and phone consultations. Fees will be discussed subject to the type and duration of services requested.
End of Life Doula Services & Fees
Initial consultation
Free, no obligation discussion (up to 15 mins) over the phone or video (Skype/Zoom)
In person, minimum 1hr (business hours) – refer to Fees

In person, minimum 60 min per engagement

Payment options electronic funds transfer. If payment is by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) an additional 2% surcharge applies
Services will be invoiced & receipts provided
Invoice terms: 7 days (individual – direct arrangements); 14 days (services brokered by an organisation)

A secure setting, clean bed & bedding/recliner is to be located in or near the client’s room; and
Access to the use of basic kitchen and bathroom facilities
Travel
Fees are inclusive of travel cost up to 50km round trip
Additional travel (greater than 50km round trip) is charged at $1.00 per km
Equipment
Equipment hire/purchase – payment is the responsibility of the client/family
Standard personal protective equipment (PPE) used by the Doula – no additional charge
Funeral Celebrant
INTRODUCTORY DISCUSSION: via phone, email and/or Zoom/Skype
ACT AS A ‘MASTER OF CEREMONIES’: oversee the coordination and delivery of the ceremony so that you can have the opportunity to take a step back and “experience” the ceremony
CO-CRAFTING A CEREMONY: working alongside you, Jacqui will guide you on the elements of, and help craft, a memorable ceremony. Elements of this crafting includes:
Providing a format for a ceremony of your choice (celebration of life or a ceremony about a loss – fashioned the way that resonates best with you)
Discuss the participation of others – eulogy; readings; song; rituals; musicians; other
Guide on rituals or other ceremony e.g. scattering/burial of ashes
Work with families to provide their own selection of music/song; advising where music often is played during the ceremony
PRESENTATION: Upon completion of the ceremony you will be provided with one printed copy of the ceremony script
Travel greater than 50km – additional fee upon negotiation
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS – additional fee subject to chosen options. Price to be negotiated

Confirmation of engagement of services is to be made in writing by the person responsible for payment of the Invoice (via a Funeral Director or private arrangements)
